Information about the position
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with our client, is looking for an economist for a project of approximately 6 months initially. The assignment is part of our personnel leasing, and you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at the client's site during the duration of the temporary position. The office is located in central Umeå and is a full-time position of 40 hours/week.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of economist, you will primarily work with payments as well as payroll and bank reconciliations. You will handle purchase orders and expense invoices and support the business in both Swedish and English, mainly via email. You will also be involved in the monthly closing process. Examples of job responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliations
• Payments
• Ongoing bookkeeping
• VAT reporting

We are looking for someone who
has a degree in economics and has some type of previous experience with similar tasks, such as collections, payments, and/or invoicing. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the work requires communication with countries outside Sweden. It is an advantage if you have worked in various business systems, have experience in accounting work, or handled supplier invoices.
